Where the bridge began.
The Technical Bridge Group was not simply born in an operating room. It was forged through more than twenty years of frontline experience and a realization that students are too often left to navigate the transition from theory to execution alone.
After stepping from the surgical suite into technical-college education, founder Destinee Walker began seeing the same challenge from a different perspective. Students could learn the terminology, memorize the processes, and understand the textbook — yet still struggle when it was time to perform in the real world.
The gap wasn't unique to healthcare.
Conversations with educators and students across disciplines revealed something larger: the challenge of translating knowledge into confident execution exists throughout technical careers.
Whether someone is entering an operating room, pharmacy, veterinary clinic, salon, imaging suite, or mechanical workspace, technical excellence requires more than knowing the information. It requires understanding how to apply it.
