About The Founder.
Destinee Walker, is a seasoned Certified Surgical Technologist and the visionary founder of The Technical Bridge Group. With over two decades of high-stakes experience in the operating room spanning the rapid rhythm of level-one trauma centers, the precision of advanced robotics, and the diverse landscapes of nationwide traveling assignments Destinee has dedicated her life to the silent dance of surgery and the profound duty of patient care.
After 20 years on the front lines, Destinee discovered a second calling: empowering the next generation of surgical professionals. Her journey into academia led her to faculty roles at both Fortis College and Carrington College, where she stepped out of the OR and into the classroom. It was there, watching minds ignite, that she realized her deepest affection for the career lay in passing the torch.
But Destinee refuses to let her roots fade. To teach a living, breathing art, one must remain a part of it. Today, she continues to accept selective, local surgical tech contracts in the Greater Phoenix area keeping her hands in the current, her skills sharp, and her knowledge fully immersed in today's ever-evolving medical landscape. She firmly believes that you cannot truly guide others if you are too far removed from the heartbeat of modern, hands-on application.
Seeing the critical, often daunting chasm that students must cross from textbook theory to the high-pressure reality of the clinical suite, Destinee founded The Technical Bridge Group. It is more than a consulting firm; it is a labor of love, a sanctuary of mentorship, and the definitive framework designed to transform aspiring students into confident, elite technical professionals.
"My empathy for patients pushes me to ensure that the next generation of surgical technologists becomes the ultimate patient advocates. My deep affection for this career drives me to develop that future, building a bridge so every student walks into the OR fully equipped to succeed, lead, and excel."
